Dr. Astrid Serauto Canache earned her medical degree from the Universidad Central de Venezuela Luis Razetti Medical School. She completed her residency in internal medicine, followed by fellowships in cardiovascular disease and cardiology at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston.
Dr. Serauto Canache, who has practiced since 2011, is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology. A specialist in cardiovascular disease and interventional and structural cardiology, she is trained in non-invasive procedures, including echocardiography and nuclear cardiology. Her primary clinical interests include percutaneous interventions for coronary disease, peripheral arterial disease, valvular disease and cardiogenic shock.
